What exactly does micro-pave (pronounced “pa-vey”) mean?
 
It’s a special jeweller technique that is used to set lots of gems on the surface of a single piece of jewelry. The stones set in multiple rows are usually uniform sized but small, so in order to create a fully iced out honeycomb-like pattern on the surface the jewellers use microscopes.
 
These gems are so small they don’t even measure them in carats. Does that lessen the value? Well, yes and no. You see, although these cubic zirconia stones are smaller, there are much more of them on the jewelry. This makes the micro-pave grillz much more thinner, elegant and delicate. Not to mention that 18K gold plating this beauty has.
